CAN YOU TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR EDUCATION?
My name is Aimée Schoon. I am 20 years old and I live in The Hague. Currently, I am in my third year of education as an interior advisor at the Hout- en Meubilerings College. In my spare time you can often find me at the hockey fields of HDS.
WHY STUDIO FLEX?
Studio Flex is now my third internship. My first internship was at an architectural firm and my second internship was in a store for home decoration. I found out that I am anything but a salesman at a store and I really wanted to go back to a design agency as soon as possible. The website stagemarkt.nl helped me with this and that is how I joined Studio Flex. Furthermore, this company showed projects that appealed to me and that is why I chose Studio Flex.
WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
The company is very focused on communication, so I expect and hope that this internship will strengthen me in that area. It also seems nice to be involved in projects and to really discover how a project actually comes about.
WHAT PROJECTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN AT STUDIO FLEX?
That doesn’t really matter to me. As long as it is challenging, I find everything interesting. I even like writing small blogs because I can then unconsciously learn more about all kinds of field related projects and trends. Always useful!
WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING TO DO AFTER THIS INTERNSHIP?
After this internship I will stay in this education for another year and a half and hopefully also finish it. Then I want to spend a few months, discovering the world. After that, I’ll enroll in further education, but what that will be, I still have to find out.
