TELL ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR INTERNSHIP?
Hello, I’m Javier Vidal. I am a happy, social young man. At the moment I am studying engineering at the Haagse Hogeschool. I am now in my graduation phase.
WHY STUDIO FLEX?
Since Studio Flex is a young, growing company, I decided to do my internship here. My ambition is, after my studies, to start my own consultancy on Curaçao.
WHAT ARE YOU EXPECTATIONS?
My expectation is that in the end I will get a clear picture of the difference between theory and practice by means of an investigation, in order to understand the total picture within the construction industry. Because in practice the process often goes a bit different than you learn from theory from school.
WHAT FOR PROJECTS WOULD YOU WANT TO WORK WITH STUDIO FLEX?
My favorite projects are transformation projects in combination with additions. And then the technical elaboration of it. I find it super exciting to find the limits for such projects.
WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING AFTER YOUR INTERNSHIP?
After my internship, I will continue working in the Netherlands for another two or three years to further develop myself and also save up so that I can move to Curaçao. My plans are to help the people there from my experience gained in the Netherlands.
