Since the beginning of this week, our team has been strengthened by Lois. she will do an internship with us for the next 10 weeks.
TELL MORE ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR EDUCATION?
Hai!! My name is Lois, I am nineteen years old and come from Delft. I am currently in my 4th year of the Interior Adviser course at the Wood and Furnishing College in Rotterdam. I am in my exam year and in the past period I have been focusing on my exams. This period is fortunately a bit quieter because I can do an internship at Studio Flex. In my free time I am mainly busy dancing and doing fun things with my friends. I also really enjoy teaching myself things and therefore try to play keyboard and learn Italian.
WHY STUDIO FLEX?
In recent years I had to do a lot of internships. I’ve done 5 internships in total, which were in different companies. Every company taught me a lot about the profession bus also about myself. Most of my internships were in furniture stores where your mainly talk to the customer and give advice. For my last internship I wanted to try something new and jump out of my comfort zone. When I found Studio Flex I immediately wanted to do an internship there. The image of the company appealed to me and made me feel as if I could learn a lot from them.
WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
Because this is new to me, I expect it to be a very fun and interesting internship. I know I will learn many new things that I can apply later. I know that I am in good hands here and that I will certainly be helped if I don’t get it.
WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK ON AT STUDIO FLEX?
Hmm? I already think the fact that I can get a glimpse of all the project is super cool. But if I could really choose, I would opt for a large project. Something like an office or a large home. At school I mainly have some smaller project so it would be nice to see something els.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER YOUR INTERNSHIP?
After this internship I have to continue my exams and my first goals is to get my diploma. I expect that after this internship I will have a better picture of who I am as a person and how I see myself in the workplace. I will therefore get a better picture of what i want to do and what further education I will follow.
