NEW BUILDING

Shiva Temples opened the first Hindu Temple in Amsterdam Zuidoost in 2011, in a previous industrial building on the Hoogdoorddreef. The Temple is open 7 days a week and receiving many visitors daily and during events. The temple focuses on playing a significant role in targeting and accomplishing the needs and requirements of the people of the Hindu community in response to their varied traditions and devotedness with great enthusiasm and dedication. Now that they outgrow their current location they are planning in realizing a new building as a temple.

The client has asked Studio Flex to assist Shiva Temples in the process that may lead to the realisation of a new Temple. The first step was making this sketch design, translating the ideas of the client in a building plan indicating dimensions, built area, height of the building, parking facilities and how it may looks like.
